How does it work?
It's easy! Just sign up for an account online and schedule a free drop-off. Our moving team will arrive at your home on the scheduled day to drop-off durable plastic boxes and tamper-proof security fasteners. We'll wait up to 20 minutes while you pack your stuff, or you may schedule a pick-up for a later day. Our moving team will then help secure your boxes and transport them directly to our secure storage facility.
When you want something back, sign into your account and select exactly which boxes you want returned. We'll bring your things back on the date and time of your choosing!
What can and can't I store?
You can store anything from clothes to books to DVDs, camping gear, and other seasonal items - as long as it fits in the box and doesn't exceed the weight limit of 23kg per box (the weight limit of regular bulky item or oversized bulky item is 25kg / the weight limit of document box or wardrobe box is 15kg). We ask that you use common sense when packing, so no perishables, glass or fragile items (or pack at your own risk), explosives and flammables, hazardous materials or illegal substances of any kind.
Please refrain from storing anything that is alive (or was recently alive), items that might raise suspicious behavior and things that might smell over time. In a nutshell, anything that is legal, non-hazardous, and non-perishable is perfectly fine!
Do you offer insurance protection for my items?
Absolutely. Each box comes with free insurance up to the value of HK$1,000 from the moment it's handed over to our moving team, while in transit, and once it's in our warehouse. We do not, however, insure fragile items - glass, China, TVs, etc. If you are storing fragile items, please make sure they are wrapped properly and carefully packed to ensure safety during transport.
How does the online access of stored items work?
Our website and our mobile app offer a simple way to keep track of the items you store with us. After your pick-up is scheduled, our moving team will quickly walk you through the process and answer any questions you might have.
Will you open my boxes?
Unless we are bound by legal requirements to do so, we will never open your boxes without your consent! We will not touch, shift or remove any items belonging to you.
Might my boxes be damaged in transit?
We promise to always handle your boxes with utmost care. The boxes themselves are extremely durable and are driven directly to our storage facility in our secured vans. But of course, accidents sometimes happen and that's where our insurance program kicks in.
Are the boxes reusable / recyclable?
Absolutely! We value sustainability and leaving the smallest carbon footprint possible. For this reason, our boxes are made with commercial grade, HDPE plastic - sturdy enough to be reused again and again. They are designed for active use for ten years and are 100% recyclable. We ensure that each box goes through a thorough cleaning and disinfecting process before being sent to you.
How much will it cost me?
Our storage plans start at HK$29 per document box, HK$39 per standard storage box, HK$69 per regular bulky item, HK$89 per oversized bulky item, HK$89 per wardrobe box per month, minimum 3 months storage period (excluding promotions) and minimum spend of HK$195 on monthly rental fee. An additional box materials fee will be charged when storing document box and/or wardrobe box: HK$15 per Document Box and HK$150 per Wardrobe Box. Unused Boxes are refundable (only in the same condition as they were dropped off). Every time you order new boxes, you get a free drop-off and pick-up. We drop off empty boxes for you to pack up and pick up your packed boxes free of charge.
For subsequent retrieves and pick-ups, each trip is HK$15/box or item (min. HK$75/trip). If you are able to return the packed boxes within 20 mins, the pick-up is free of charge.
If you do not wish to re-store any of your retrieved boxes and are able to return the empty boxes within 20 mins, the return(first pick-up) trip is free. Otherwise, this will incur HK$15/box or item (min. HK$75/trip).
If boxes already in storage but I wish to order more, what is the charge for this new order?
If existing customer have already stored items in warehouse and require more boxes, the newly ordered boxes’ first payment will be charged based on prorate rate (storage fee ÷ 30 × number of days starting from the day after boxes stored in warehouse to the day of billing cycle), after which storage fees will be charged at regular rate per month.
If the first batch of boxes’ fees are charged on 1st of every month and the delivery team picks up the second batch of boxes on 15th June, the first and second monthly fee for the second batch of boxes will be charged on 1st July. First monthly fee for this batch of boxes will be charged as prorate rate calculated starting from 16th June to 30th June (15 days). At this rate, each standard storage box’s prorate rate will be HK$39 ÷ 30 days x 15 days = HK$20, rounding to the next dollar. Second monthly fee for this batch of boxes will be charged at regular rate HK$39.
How do I use a promo code?
5 easy steps for using a promo code:
1) Register for an account.
2) Specify the number of boxes needed.
3) Enter the valid promotional code.
4) Confirm drop-off appointment.
5) The discount has now been applied.
What happens if I need to frequently move things back and forth? How much will that cost?
As long as you give us at least 24-hour notice beforehand (by 3pm the working day before delivery), you can move your boxes in and out of storage as often as you like! For retrievals, the fee is HK$15/box or item (min. HK$75/trip). For customers who are re-packing any of their retrieved boxes for storage, the return (pick-up) trip is also HK$15/box or item (min. HK$75/trip). If you do not wish to re-store any of your retrieved boxes and are able to return the empty boxes within 20 mins, the return (pick-up) trip is free too. Otherwise, this will incur HK$15/box or item (min. HK$75/trip).
What if I don't know how many boxes I need? Do I pay for those I don't use?
If you're not sure how many boxes to order, we recommend that you order extra, just in case. When our moving team comes to collect your filled boxes for storage, just return any empty boxes you don't use at that time. We only charge for the boxes you store.
How do I update my contact information?
After you've signed in, you can click on "Menu", look for "My Info". You can update your full name and phone. To update your current address, we charge $100 of change address fee for every address update. Please call us at 3565 6850 or e-mail us at [email protected] to change your address.

Cardboard Boxes (min. 10 pcs) can be purchased at HK$250 per 10 boxes and will be dropped off to your specified location for free. Dimensions: 56cm (L) X 38cm (W) X 38cm (H). Unused Cardboard Boxes are refundable (only in the same condition as they were dropped off).
- Provision of Packing Materials
One Marker and one roll of Packing Tape are provided for free during pickup upon request. Subsequent Packing Tapes can be purchased at HK$10 per roll.
Bubble Wrap can be purchased at HK$60 per roll. Dimensions: 50 cm (W) X 150 ft/45 m (L).
Air Column Bag (wine bottle & fragile item) can be purchased at HK$8 each.

Pick-up time starts when Boxful staff knocks on the customers' doors, and until photos of each item taken, all items are wrapped properly on pallet(s), and loaded onto Boxful's vehicles. If a customer requires Boxful staff to handle items on his/her behalf during the storage period (e.g. provide measurements of furniture, rewrap and resemble items etc.), a fee of HK$200 per task will be charged.
How does the pick-up work?
Our moving team and truck will arrive to your place and make sure each item is securely packed before loading onto our truck. Every plan includes onsite move & pack service.
How much advance notice do I need to schedule a pick-up?
Pick-up requires at least 48 hours notice prior to the cut-off time at 3pm and is subject to availability of our time slots.
How do I schedule a pick-up?
As long as you call to cancel or reschedule your appointment before 3pm two days prior to your scheduled pick-up time, there is no cancellation fee. Cancellations or rescheduling after 3pm two days prior to your appointment will incur a $300 cancellation fee.

If you schedule a final drop-off before the minimum 3-month storage term (excluding promotions) is up, your account will be charged for the months remaining on the minimum term.
How do you keep track of all my stored items and make sure they are all returned to me?
During your initial pickup we apply IDs to each item, and photograph everything so there is a record of what’s in storage and what condition it was received in. We make sure to complete the photographing during the pick-up so if the worst should happen, we can reimburse up to HK$10,000 in loss or damages.
Please note we cannot guarantee the contents of the box if we are not able to see what’s in it. We will still be responsible for returning the box, but the contents cannot be insured if we cannot verify that they are packed properly to prevent damage. How much advance notice is needed to schedule a return?
Return delivery requires at least 48-hour advance and is subject to availability. The cut-off time for scheduling is 3pm for all deliveries.
I moved to a new place and would like my items to be delivered back to a new address. Are there any extra charges?
It's FREE. As long as your new address is within our service network, there will be no extra charges for delivering back your stored items to a different address.
What happens if I'm a "no-show" for my appointment?
Our moving team will wait for up to 20 minutes while trying to get in touch with you. If you're still a no-show after 20 minutes, we'll have to charge you HK$600. No one likes being stood up!
